For this project, our professor paired us in teams of two and tasked us with designing a website or app aimed at providing support to individuals in need. My partner and I developed an app specifically designed to assist people living with Alzheimer’s disease.

The app offers a range of features to improve daily living and safety, including an emergency service for immediate assistance in case of falls or other urgent situations. It also includes tools for daily planning, such as reminders and appointment scheduling, to help users manage their routines more effectively. Additionally, the app incorporates cognitive stimulation exercises aimed at helping users maintain mental alertness for longer periods.

This project was one of my favorites to work on, as I thoroughly enjoy collaborative environments and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to solutions that can positively impact people’s lives.
